Hi, I’m Efe, I’m a food loving, chocolate-obsessed mom who has a passion to share my favorite tried-and-true recipes with the world. Food makes me happy; chocolate makes my soul sing, cooking has always been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember.

I am a self-taught chef. My love and passion for food begun at a very young age. Growing up I used spend a lot of time in the kitchen with my mum, learning some tricks in culinary as an art. Taste Kitchen was born out of our passion and indeed love for the art of food.

I started experimenting with dishes themed around countries all over the world, I mean you can experience a taste of Mumbai without actually hopping on a plane there. Its about making food a personal journey, bring a fusion of fresh edgy unique tastes and making it yours, its about creating diversity, that extra touch that friends and family look forward to, its about connecting the world through the heart of your kitchen. This journey however shouldn’t take you away from your love, craving and passion for Nigerian Food (Heck, you will never find my kitchen without Plantain or Yam, NEVER) but its about giving our loved ones a nudge of surprise through food, made and researched with love…

I am a private chef and my vision is to share with the world African flavors through new recipes and revised recipes in a soothing atmosphere with quality service. I am more concerned with the experiences I offer to clients or homes. I am greatly inspired my Chef Maneet Chauhan and her approach to sharing African food with the world.

 

Taste Kitchen provides pop up dining events and private chef services in the London and Kent areas.
